The second iteration of Dead by Daylight's 2v8 game mode will be extended until 28 November at 10 AM ET, developers announced. This gives players another two days to enjoy the event, which was originally planned to end on 26 November.

Both iterations of the mode have been incredibly popular, especially among Killers. While this has resulted in developers extending the game mode, it's also caused some issues with lengthy queue times.

"Due to the nature of an online game, the return of 2v8 is unable to ameliorate this issue [with queue times]," the team said. "It’s something that we are aware of, and we are looking into making the Survivor experience more rewarding."

After this iteration of 2v8 ends on the 28th, players can look forward to trying out future versions of the game mode with new killers and maps. This iteration added three new killers: The Deathslinger, The Spirit, and The Blight. The next iteration is set to add The Legion and several other killers, as well as "make the Survivor experience more rewarding" to hopefully limit Killer queue times.
