Since Scar has arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley, he always makes it known who the real King of the Valley is -- so who are we to deny the ferocious kitty his rightful title? Following his arrival, Merlin placed a curse on Scar and took away his Mirror Shard as punishment for his behavior towards the Valley birds.
The Making of a Monarch quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley will teach Scar how to be a proper King and look after even the weakest subjects. This guide will detail how to break Scar’s curse by completing The Making of a Monarch quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, reuniting him with his precious treasure. You'll also unlock the Volcanic Stove as a reward!
Disney Dreamlight Valley The Making of a Monarch Quest Guide
The Making of a Monarch is the final Scar Friendship quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it requires you to complete the quests: Nature and Nurture, Friends Aren't Food, Breaking Bones, and The Circle of Life (in this exact order)
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, a Friendship Level 10 is necessary to start The Making of a Monarch Scar quest. Start the challenge by interacting with Scar; he'll ask you to make the following dishes for dinner: Snow White's Gooseberry Pie and Teriyaki Salmon (we've prepared more detailed guides for each).
After preparing the dishes, visit Scar in his cave and give him the two meals. Scar will then reveal a long-lost treasure he's been searching for. You'll then need to speak with Merlin and gather the supplies necessary to make 2x Sunbird Feeders.
Here are the materials required to make Sunbird Feeders:
-
40x Softwood
-
10x Dark Wood
-
20x Cotton
-
6x Red Bromeliad
-
6x Pink Houseleek
Softwood can be found in all biomes, while Dark Wood can only be found in the Forgotten Lands; both can be found at the base of a tree. Cotton Seeds can be purchased for 42 Star Coins from Goofy's Stall in the Sunlit Plateau. In addition, the Sunlit Plateau contains Red Bromeliad and Pink Houseleeks.
The Sunbird Feeders can be made at your Crafting Station using the collected materials. Once crafted, you can place them near the pond in the Sunlit Plateau. Return to Scar after you've set the Sunbird Feeders, and you'll be tasked with feeding two birds flowers.
Interact with any two birds in the Sunlit Plateau and give them a flower; once finished, return to Scar, and he will instruct you to meet him at his cave to see if Merlin's curse has been broken. After some dialogue, a Mysterious Mirror Shard appears in Scar's Cave.
Pick up the Mirror Shard and give it to Scar. You've now finished The Making of a Monarch Scar quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and he'll give you the Volcanic Stove as a reward. Congratulations!
