The release of Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale brought an entirely new region to the game along with additional quests and characters. Each new biome even brings unique critters to the game, and perhaps none may be cuter than the Baby Pegasus. It'll take more than their favorite food, as every Baby Pegasus in Disney Dreamlight Valley follows a very specific schedule.

If you've spotted a Baby Pegasus and are eager to feed it, the good news is that their food is easy to acquire and they're not too difficult to approach. The favorite food of a Baby Pegasus is a 4-Star or 5-Star Vegetable-Based meal. This means any dish will qualify as long as vegetables are part of the recipe. It does not need to be a fully vegetarian dish.

If you're not sure which dish to go with, a solid option is the Tasty Salad. All you need to make a Tasty Salad is one lettuce, one cucumber, one vegetable of any kind, and one spice of any kind. You can find cucumber seeds at Goofy's Stall in the Frosted Heights, and lettuce is found at his original Peaceful Meadow location.

Once you have the right food in your inventory, get ready for the chase. Baby Pegasi have the same approach method as foxes and a few other critters in that you need to chase them around until they stop and let you approach. It shouldn't take too long, usually just one or two changes of direction and it'll calm down for you.

Why won't Baby Pegasus appear in The Storybook Vale?

  • Pink Pegasus: The Elysian Fields all day on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They do not appear on Mondays.
