The headliner for The Lucky Dragon Update in Disney Dreamlight Valley is definitely the addition of Mulan and Mushu with their own realm, but it's far from the only thing players have to look forward to. There's a new Star Path, new items on the way, and new repeatable quests.

On top of all the new content, this Disney Dreamlight Valley update also addressed several existing bugs and has some key changes on the way. With so many details outlined in the full Disney Dreamlight Valley update patch notes, let's break down some of the best improvements on the way.

With "The Lucky Dragon Update" deploying in Disney Dreamlight Valley on June 26, most eyes are on the arrival of a new realm with Mulan and Mushu or the new Star Path. However, there are also some smaller quality of life changes that could make a drastic difference on several areas of the game.

First up, they've changed Edit Mode for furniture to allow you to more easily place multiple copies of an item, and there's a "duplicate" option now when you select a placed item. If you've been putting off changing up paths or fences due to the sheer time it would take, you can now replace an entire connected fench or path with a different style so long as you have the necessary items. You can also now check similar items when viewing a placed item, and the UI can be hidden entirely while in Edit Mode.

DreamSnaps got a good bit of attention with several improvements to how tags are viewed, new filters when ordering items at Scrooge McDuck's Store, the ability to hide Touch of Magic furniture for your submission, and the removal of tags from hairstyles and facial hair so players don't have to alter that for each new challenge.

Animal Companions and the option to buy and sell at any Goofy's Stall during Valley Visits was added, the Premium Shop preview interface should be better, and the reward screen when purchasing an item or opening a chest gives a larger view of rewards now with the ability to equip them directly from that reward screen.

For players with the expansion A Rift in Time, there's a huge improvement in that time rifts will now be significantly smaller if you don't have the Hourglass equipped. The addition of time rifts has been fantastic, but they sure become an eyesore at times, and this should fix that. Once you equip the Hourglass tool, they'll be visible with the previous larger size.
