As the festive season rolls into Disney Dreamlight Valley, players can complete five unique festive-themed duties for some sweet, limited-time rewards. One duty called "Home for the Holidays" has been quite tough for some players to complete as the game doesn't tell you what to do, and if you find yourself in the same boat, then don't fret.

Disney Dreamlight Valley - How to Complete a Home for the Holidays Task

The "Home for the Holidays" duty requires that players decorate their homes with five festive pieces of furniture (as the name suggests). However, the game doesn't exactly tell you this, which makes it confusing for some players to figure out. 

So below we're going to outline the steps you need to follow to complete the "Home for the Holidays" festive duty and get the unique reward for completing it. 

• Because the game doesn't specify which pieces count as "festive" pieces of furniture, we'd recommend crafting your own festive-themed furniture to be 100% sure. 
• The quickest and easiest way to do it is to craft five Holiday Feast Chairs, but you can also craft five menorah, kinara, yule goats, holiday feast plates and cutlery, trees of holiday cheer, etc.
• In our case, each chair will require x5 Hardwood and x3 Fabric to craft, so in total, you'll need x25 Hardwood and x15 Fabric to craft all five of the chairs.
• Head over to a crafting table and craft your five Holiday Feast Chairs.
• Now you can simply place these pieces of festive furniture anywhere in your home, and once the last is placed, the Festive duty will be marked off as complete. 

After completing this duty, you will be rewarded with the Winter Carpet, which is a rare item that you can only receive when completing this specific task. Given its rarity, it's definitely worth your time and effort to do all that crafting for this once-in-a-lifetime item.
