How To Complete Unknown Flavor Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley will task you to explore and interact with various Disney and Pixar characters across its biomes as part of its many quests. One of these includes the Unknown Flavor quest, which forms part of Chez Remy’s final Friendship questline.

During this challenge, you must interact with various characters like Merlin and Wall-E to create Vanilla Ice Cream. This guide will detail how to complete the Unknown Flavor quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, including all the ingredients required to make Vanilla Ice Cream.

How To Get The Unknown Flavor In Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Unknown Flavor Quest will be the final quest you receive from Chez Remy. This quest will only become available after you’ve reached Level 10 Friendship. As part of the challenge, you must explore the entire map to create Vanilla Ice Cream. 

To begin this quest, you will first need to speak to Merlin. Once you’ve interacted with him, he will ask you to travel to his home in the Peaceful Meadow to search for his notes.

Once you've arrived at the house, you can find Merlin's notes on his bookshelf. Look for the glowing orbs and interact with them. After you’ve obtained them, you will receive a quest notification to gather 3x Purified Night Shards.

When crafting Purified Night Shards, you must mix Dream Shards and Night Shards at your Crafting Station. Note: For each Purified Night Shard created, you will need 5x Night Shards and 1x Dream Shard.

Next, you will need to turn your Purified Night Shards into a powder; this can be done with the assistance of Wall-E. Find the adorable robot and hand over the items. After he has given you the powder, your next quest will be to find 15x Snowballs.

You can find Snowballs in the Frosted Heights biome. To harvest them, use your Magic Pickaxe and hack at the spiked ice structures. If you don't yet have this item, you can learn how to get it in our previous guide below.

Afterward, you will be requested to make an Ice Slush at your Crafting Station. Once you have successfully crafted this item using your Snowballs and Purified Night Shard Powder, you must hand it over to Remy.

After completing all these steps, you will be given a Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe from Remy, which you can find in your inventory. You will need the following ingredients to make Vanilla Ice Cream: 

• 1x Slush Ice (this can be bought at Remy’s pantry for 150 Star Coins)

• 1x Milk

• 1x Sugarcane 

• 1x Vanilla
