You will need Star Coins in Disney Dreamlight Valley for a multitude of reasons. Whether it's upgrading your house, buying new outfits, acquiring crops, or other miscellaneous activities, one resource that stands above all and will be a necessity for these purchases is Star Coins.

How to farm Star Coins in Disney Dreamlight Valley

As mentioned before, there are plenty of ways to acquire Star Coins in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Two of the easiest activities that would give you an abundance of Star Coins early on are Mining and Fishing. 

Mining deposits are scattered all over the Valley, and you can use them to acquire gemstones that contain jewels. You can sell off these jewels for a substantial amount of Star Coins.

Leveling up your bond with the characters you rescue will allow you to assign various roles to them. Assign them Mining, and they will tag alongside you to farm those precious jewels and increase the Star Coins you earn through this activity.

Fishing works similarly to Mining. In fact, some rare fishes fetch a hefty price, and you can repeat this process to gain plenty of Star Coins. Naturally, you can also bring a friend with you. Simply assign them the Fishing role, and they will tag alongside you to help you with this activity and get you some extra Star Coins in the process.

Another way to earn Star Coins is by clearing out the Valley. You will however need a shovel for that. Cleaning up vines and other areas within the valley will net you some Star Coins.

You can also sell the items you pick while cleaning these areas to gain some much-needed Star Coins.
