Cyberpunk 2077 Sports Cars: All Brands & Models

If you want to travel fast and with a style, sports cars are what you want to get in Cyberpunk 2077.

When it comes to speed, sports cars have no equal in Cyberpunk 2077. These machines are equipped with high-velocity shells designed to maximize aerodynamic efficiency of the vehicle.

In terms of gameplay, sports cars will give you extreme speed at a cost of controllability, so you'll need to really know what you are doing when driving these cars, or otherwise, you will be crashing into things more often than you would like.

Sports cars are primarily popular amongst street-racers and various Night City gangs.

Owning a sleek sports car will give you respect on the street both amongst gang members and street-racers. It can even lead to some potential romantic opportunities with the right persons who are amazed by that kind of style.

Sports cars are boasting the strongest engines in the game, and have some unique gameplay elements that other cars can't offer.

They are the only vehicles in the game that have some sort of customization since they are the only vehicles with exchangeable parts which make them perfect for tuning.

When it comes to sports cars, the two biggest brands on the market are the Japanese Mizutani and the American Quadra.

Mizutani is a Tokyo-based automotive manufacturer, with really big popularity on the American market. They focus their manufacturing efforts on Japanese sports car models.

Mizutani profited the most from the rivalry of Thornton and Archer in the decades prior to the events of Cyberpunk 2077, and have managed to get on the top with their high-quality, relatively affordable sports cars.

Quadra is known for their premium muscle cars, high-performance American coupes with rear-wheel drive, and are especially popular amongst drag racers. Their most iconic models are the Type-66 and Turbo-R.

They also produce other retro stylized sports vehicles, aimed at the wider public consumer-base.

Finally, Cyberpunk 2077 features one famous real-life model in this category - Porsche 911 Turbo.

Here's the list of all currently known sports cars featured in Cyberpunk 2077.

Mizutani Shion

The Mizutani Shion is one of the best-know models coming from this Japanese manufacturer.

This model was in production in the period between 2058 and 2069, and it is particularly popular amongst people who like the Kitsch style, one of the four main styles in Cyberpunk 2077.

And while Mizutani has its factories and production all over the world, this particular model has been manufactured exclusively in Japan, which is one of the reasons why is this vehicle so popular, despite being out of production for almost decade.

Shion is a coupe with 2 seats, 3 sliding doors, and a glass windscreen.

The car weighs 1,420 kilos and it boasts 320 horsepower engine.

Besides its standard version, there's also a Mizutani Shion Nomad version, which is a heavily modified Shion model, adapted for driving through the deserts and at night without other sources of light.

This version features enhanced shock absorbers, off-road tires, various chassis modifications, and a lot of extra lights.

Quadra Turbo R

An iconic American sports car, the Quadra Turbo-R was introduced as America's response to Japanese sports car manufacturers and their domination over that market.

It was designed and produced exclusively at Quadra HQ in Detroit and quickly became one of the most popular automobiles in the US.

It was produced between 2055 and 2062, and later replaced with more modern versions, which were popular as well, but never quite as popular as the original model.

The Quadra Turbo R was first seen in the Cyberpunk 2077 E3 2018 trailer, where it was driven by V, the player's character.

It was later revealed during the 48-minute gameplay demo that the car is owned by Jackie Welles, one of V's early partners in the game.

The vehicle uses CHOOH2, a standard synthetic alcohol fuel featured in Cyberpunk 2077. The essential ingredient in CHOOH2 is a patented high-sugar wheat, Triticum Vulgaris Megasuavis, which can be combined with yeast and processed into alcohol.

Like many other Quadra models, the vehicle is inspired by 1980s exotic sports cars, which comes from the fact that the original table-top RPG (Cyberpunk 2020) was designed in the late 80s.

The car is powered by a turbocharged 607HP V8 engine and weighs around 1450 kilos. It is a coupe with 2 seats and 2 folding doors.

V-Tech is the next version of Turbo 4, introduced in 2058.

It features various enhancements, including an improved exhaust system and suspension, and a V10 engine.

It is highly regarded and considered as one of the best muscle cars ever, quickly earning cult status.

Another version of Turbo R was produced in 2069, but it never managed to surpass the popularity of the legendary V-Tech.

Quadra Type-66

The Quadra Type-66 is a less popular and older Quadra model, produced in the early 50s.

The model is a coupe muscle car, heavily inspired by a 1964-1969 Ford Mustang.

It has 2 seats and 2 sliding doors with glass windscreen, and with an engine that boasts 666 Horse Power.

With its weight of 1720 kilos, the model is significantly heavier than its successors from the Turbo series.

Besides the standard model, the game will also feature several variations, including a custom car based off the Quadra Type-66 platform called the Reaver, driven by members of The Wraiths gang.

Quadra Type-66 Avenger is another variation of the vehicle and this version is particularly popular amongst the people associated with the kitsch style in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.

Nomad tribes have their version, the heavily modified Quadra Type-66 Nomad, with durable field tires, and strong metallic armour enhancements on the front of the vehicles so that it can withstand even the most destructive frontal collisions.

Finally, there's a fine-tuned Quadra Type-66 Sampson, the model designed specifically for street racing on which every single detail is dedicated to speed and aerodynamics.

Porsche 911 Turbo

Last, but most definitely not the least.

The iconic Porsche 911 Turbo will be one of the only two real-life vehicles featured in Cyberpunk 2077, the other one being ARCH Nasare CD motorcycle.

The model is based on the Porsche model range first launched back in 1974.

The Porsche 911 Turbo is a unique vehicle in the world of Cyberpunk, and it is one of the most important because it is a personal car of Johnny Silverhand, who's one of the main characters in the game, portrayed by Keanu Reeves.

The Porsche 911 is customized to represent Johnny Silverhand's band, Samurai. During the year 2020 (the original Cyberpunk was set in 2020)  Johnny would cruise through Night City in this car.

"Rain runs down the front of the speeder. A wall of Corporate glass and steel looms to either side as they pull out into the downtown traffic. The Porsche whistles slightly in the chill air, it's methanol powerplant throwing it against the City night."  - Never Fade Away, a Cyberpunk 2020 mini-adventure.

In Cyberpunk 2077, where Johnny now exists only as a hologram, players will have a chance to get their hands on this iconic vehicle, but it is not yet revealed how it will be obtainable.

But don't worry, it won't be some kind of pre-order bonus or something exclusive to the "ultra edition" of the game. Anyone will be able to get it through gameplay, likely by solving a questline in the game.

CD Projekt RED worked meticulously to faithfully represent the real vehicle in the game, and visual fidelity of the model is something they say they are particularly proud of.
