Cyberpunk 2077 file size revealed: Will release on two discs

Barring any further delays, your journey in Night City will begin on 10th December 2020. While we still don't know the full system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077, we now know the minimum file size the game will require. There's also confirmation the game's physical copies will arrive with two Blu-Ray discs, thanks to leaked photos of the boxart.

Let's just rip off the bandaid right now. The Cyberpunk 2077 minimum file size is 70GB on the PS4. This information comes thanks to Mikeymorphin on Reddit, who shared images of the promo copies of Cyberpunk 2077.

Inside the Cyberpunk 2077 box comes the following items as per an image from the front of the box:

• x2 Blu-Ray discs
• World Compendium
• Stickers
• Post Cards
• Game Map
• Digital Content Access

On the back of the box, the minimum file size for Cyberpunk 2077's PS4 version is revealed as 70GB.

It is expected that the file size should be roughly the same on Xbox One and PC. However, there's no word yet on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions.

Keep in mind Cyberpunk 2077 will not release with a full next-gen update, as this is expected to release sometime in 2021.

As always, there could be big day one updates, which might increase the file size even further, as CD Projekt RED continues to work on the game.
