CrossfireX servers down? How to check server status

South Korean studio, Smilegate, releasing Lost Ark on PC via Steam, and the immensely popular tactical shooter, CrossfireX, released to a global audience on Xbox Game Pass. In partnership with Microsoft and Remedy, Smilegate has brought players an improved version of the original in CrossfireX, and there's even a story campaign now.

With a multiplayer title such as CrossfireX, especially when being available to millions of Game Pass subscribers across the globe, there are bound to be some issues.

In this guide, we tell you if the CrossfireX servers are currently down for either planned or unplanned maintenance, and how you can check the server status of CrossfireX and Xbox Live services.

Are the CrossfireX servers down?

At the time of writing, the CrossfireX servers and Xbox Live services are not down. This, however, could change at any moment, due to planned or unplanned maintenance.

CrossfireX hasn't had the smoothest of launches ever, with some match connection issues and players on Xbox Game Pass not being able to access the campaign content created by Remedy.

Before you go crazy on your gaming setup, however, we suggest first checking if the CrossfireX servers are currently down.

How to check CrossfireX / Xbox Live server status

While it is always good to turn your router off and then on again when experiencing connection issues, we suggest you check the status of the CrossfireX / Xbox Live servers and services.

The first thing players can do is head on over to the official Xbox Live services page (image above) and check if there are any ongoing issues.

Your second option is to check the official CrossfireX Twitter account, where the developers update fans on the game's server status.

Lastly, players can check Xbox Live services issues by heading to the third-party DownDetector page where you can report issues and discuss any workarounds.
