To get to the Grand Final, MOUZ survived the Group Stage and then beat Brazillian side paiN Gaming in the Quarterfinals match of the Playoffs with a 2-0 scoreline. MOUZ then went on to send Astralis packing with a solid 2-1 victory, with the first map going into overtime.

On the other side of the bracket, Team Falcons had a lot to prove with their new superteam. Team Falcons proved to the crowd and everyone watching at home that they are a top contender, beating Turkish side Eternal Fire with a 2-1 score and then sweeping FaZe Clan in a convincing 2-0.

While the teams seemed evenly matched, the Grand Final of PGL Cluj-Napoca told a different story. On Team Falcons' map pick of Dust2, MOUZ got off to a big start with an 8-4 lead on the CT side and then finished off proceedings for a strong 13-6 win.

On the second map, Mirage, which was MOUZ's first map pick, Team Falcons fought back with vigor, taking a huge 10-2 lead on the CT side and finishing up the map with a dominating 13-4 win.

MOUZ didn't that one map get under their skin, and bounced back on Nuke with a strong first half (9-3). Falcons did fight back, but MOUZ ended up winning 13-11, avoiding Overtime and securing a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five grand finale.

In the 4th map, Ancient, MOUZ took a first-half lead, like most of the series. The squad, under the new in-game leadership of Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin, secured a solid 13-9 win to lift the trophy, winning the grand finale with a 3-1 score.

Congratulations go out to MOUZ for winning the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 event in domination fashion and to Team Falcons' star rifler, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, who picked up his first MVP award with the new squad.
