ESL Pro League Season 20 Format, Schedule & Prizes
As you can see from the image above, ESL Pro League Season 20 features a huge prize pool of $750,000, with the winner earning $170,000 and 2,000 BLAST Premier points, important for teams that still need to qualify for the World Final at the end of the year.
The event runs from 3 to 22 September 2024 and features both a Group Stage and a Playoffs Stage.
ESL Pro League Season 20 begins with four triple-elimination format groups. Each group features eight teams, and all matches are BO3. The first-place teams advance to the Quarterfinals, while the 2nd-place teams advance to the Round of 12 in the playoffs as the High Seeds. The third-placed teams in each group advance to the Round of 16 as the High Seeds, while the 4th-placed teams advance to the Round of 16 as the Low Seeds. The rest of the teams are all eliminated.
The playoffs format is less complicated, with a single-elimination bracket where all matches are BO3, except the grand finale, which is BO5.
Group A and B matches (more on that later) start on 3 September 2024, while Group C and D matches start on 10 September 2024. The playoffs will take place in the final week, ending on Sunday, 22 September 2024, with the grand finale.

How To Watch ESL Pro League Season 20
Even if you can't make it to Malta, you can watch all the ESL Pro League Season 20 action live from the comfort of your own home. Use the official ESLCS Twitch channel to watch all the live streams from the event and catch up with highlights and videos via the official ESL Counter-Strike YouTube channel. We've embedded the main ESLCS Twitch channel below for your viewing convenience.
We can't wait to see who comes out on top at ESL Pro League Season 20. Will defending champions MOUZ rise to the occasion once again? Will Team Spirit keep their form from Betboom Dacha Belgrade #2 and wreck the completion? Will FaZe Clan recover from recent losses? Maybe, but my best guess is that we'll see NAVI or Team Vitality in the grand finale!
