BLAST World Final To Take Place in Singapore This Year

From 30 October to 3 November 2024, the best Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams in the world will compete in the pinnacle BLAST Premier World Final event. For the past two years,  the event took place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, but that has now changed!

The BLAST Premier World Final will be the first BLAST event to take place in Singapore, and it's an exciting prospect. BLAST has teamed up with AEG Presents Asia, bringing both the BLAST Premier World Final and the BLAST Dota Slam to Southeast Asia, supported by the Singapore Tourism Board.

The goals are to elevate Singapore's status as a destination for world-class esports entertainment, attract global esports talent, and foster local growth. BLAST announced this awesome news this week.

BLAST's Director of Market Development, James Woollard, explained:

We are incredibly excited to bring two of the biggest esports titles to this vibrant destination. Over the coming 18 months, Singapore will become a major hub for esports in Southeast Asia, and with the support of the Singapore Tourism Board, we look forward to delivering unforgettable experiences for fans while helping to build a thriving esports ecosystem in the region.

For BLAST, this is an exciting first step in the journey, and we all know just how good the production value is on the awesome BLAST events, as we experienced first-hand at the Spring Final in London.
