Thanks to their second-place finish in Group B, Astralis had one more chance to qualify directly for the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024, and only NIP stood in their way.
NIP got off to a strong start on their map pick of Mirage, with an incredible play in the opening round from Swedish rifler Max "maxster" Jansson, who pulled off four kills with the Clock to give NIP an early lead.
Despite an early lead, Astralis gathered themselves and pulled ahead, winning the first half 8-4. As teams switched sides, Astralis pushed for victory on the T side and won Mirage easily with a final score of 13-6.
Astralis continued their T side win streak in style on their map pick of Inferno. In the first half, Astralis pulled ahead with vigor, earning nine rounds thanks to excellent calls from dev1ce, strong execute plays, and some heroics such as Victor "Staehr" Staehr's 3v1 clutch in the 9th round.
Danish rifler Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard put Astralis on map and match point after winning the 17th round with a strong 2v1 clutch.
Astralis finished off NIP with a decisive 13-5 win on Mirage to close out the series 2-0, and earn a spot in the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024.
