Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 1 is finally here, and many fans are eager to jump into the brand-new tropical "Caldera" map and prove their mettle. This season debuts the recently revamped Warzone Pacific game, which parallels the launch of COD Vanguard Season 1. Beyond this, Warzone Pacific is loaded with all-new Operators, over forty new guns and a long menu of gameplay changes.
Considering that Warzone Pacific integrates weapons from COD Vanguard, we are confident there will be a significant shift in the meta. Moreover, deciding which weapon to use is a complicated affair as players can customize each weapon with up to ten attachment choices. So, it is only natural that many players would feel overwhelmed.
Given this, we've decided to make your life easy by highlighting all the strongest and most broken weapons to use in the game by ranking them from best to worst, starting with the light machine gun (LMG) class. So, with that said, here is our list of the best LMGs to use in Warzone Pacific Season 1, ranked from best to worst.
Warzone Pacific Season 1 LMG tier list
Light-machine guns are high capacity, high RPM killing machines. However, these guns also possess good range and high damage output and aren't exactly light, and thus mobility is usually affected. Typically, LMGs are best paired with an SMG or Marksman Rifle.
Description of the tiers
- S-Tier: Meta picks for Warzone Season 6. With the right attachments, these could be considered overpowered.
- A-Tier: While not quite worthy of a seat at the top table, they are still absolute shredders and do considerable amounts of damage.
- B-Tier: In the right hand, and with the right attachments, these LMGs can still clap. Just make sure you know what you're doing with them.
- C-Tier: Don't pick these if there are other options available.
- D-Tier: Trash. Forget they exist.
Light Machine Gun tier list
We endeavour to always have our tier lists as accurate as possible. However, the developers may choose to either nerf or buff weapons throughout the season as well. When this occurs, we will update this list.
We've listed all of the LMGs in Warzone Pacific Season 1, ranked from best to worst.
S-Tier
- PKM
- MG42 (Vanguard)
The MG42 (or Maschinengewehr 42) is currently the strongest LMG in Warzone Pacific and is proven by being a formidable force in COD Vanguard. It's a full-auto shredding machine that boasts insane damage and firepower.
Of course, the PKM is another fantastic S-tier LMG to wield. The PKM has impressive damage output and a steady fire rate that can melt through enemies over range.
A-Tier
- Bruen MK9
- DP27 (Vanguard)
The Bruen MK9 and DP27 are near equivalent S-tier guns. Both weapons demonstrate respectable damage with a significant drawback to accuracy; however, it's nothing a few attachments can't fix.
The DP27, on the other hand, boasts excellent mobility compared to other weapons, so if you're willing to trade some accuracy to be more mobile, then the DP27 is the way to go.
B-Tier
- SA87
- Type 11 (Vanguard)
The Type 11 and SA87 are solid choices but don't compare to the S- and A-tier weapons on this list. However, pairing these guns with the perfect combination of attachments could shock enemies in Caldera, so they definitely should not be underestimated.
C-Tier
While perhaps underrated, these weapons do not stand out from the rest and require specific circumstances to exhibit remarkable impact. Also, some of these guns, like the Stoner 63 and MG82, despite being popular in previous seasons of Warzone, have serious recoil problems that desperately warrant attention.
D-Tier
- M60
- MG34
- FiNN LMG
- M91
These weapons are not viable and should be avoided. You are better off with any other gun on this list.
So there you have it, our tier list of all LMGs at the start of Warzone Pacific Season 1, ranked from best to worst. Disagree with our list? We don't care. If you're looking for more disappointment, check out our Assault Rifle, SMG and Sniper Rifle tier lists.
