How to unlock the EM2 assault rifle in Warzone

Earlier today, the official roadmap for Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War was released. 

This is the standard for every season in Call of Duty. Activision releases the roadmap one week before the new season is set to drop. Season 5 launches on 12th August and fans now have knowledge of what they can expect when it releases and during the season.

One of the most exciting pieces of content that fans got to see on the roadmap was a slew of new weapons. The EM2 assault rifle, Tec-9 submachine gun, Cane melee weapon and Marshal pistol were all revealed. In this article, we’ll detail how you can unlock the first weapon on the list in Season 5 of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. 

Unlocking the EM2 in Warzone and Cold War 

The process to unlock the EM2 assault rifle is going to be the same as any other new weapon. Since it’s not being released in-season, the EM2 will need to be unlocked via the battle pass. 

In the Season 5 patch notes, the developers revealed that the  EM2 will unlock at either tier 15.

If players want to earn the EM2 as quickly as possible, they can buy the premium version of the pass and then buy individual tiers with COD Points.

They could also opt to buy the battle pass bundle for 2,400 COD Points and earn the first 20 tiers. This will unlock the EM2 right away.
