Baldur's Gate 3 is quite a challenging RPG, even on the lowest difficulty settings. Venturing into a high-level area can result in instant death for your entire party if you don't make the necessary preparations.
While having the right gear and skills is necessary to overcome any obstacle in Baldur's Gate 3, you will also need to rely on consumables like healing potions to get the job done. As such, here's our guide, which explains how to get healing potions in Baldur's Gate 3.
How To Farm Healing Potions In Baldur's Gate 3
Luckily, you can get healing potions from many different sources in Baldur's Gate 3. You can find them on human enemy corpses, barrels, and chests. Some vendors also sell healing potions, so don't forget to stock up on them every time you're in a town. However, the only guaranteed way to get them is by crafting.
How To Craft Healing Potions In Baldur's Gate 3
Before you can craft a healing potion, you will need the Potion of Healing blueprint. You can find it in one of the houses in the Blighted Village.
To craft a Potion of Healing, you will need the following items:
- Salt's of Rogue's Morsel
- Any Suspension
To craft Salts and Suspensions, go to the Extracts column in the Alchemy section, and extract Salts off Rogue's Morsel. You will need three of these to craft one Salts of Rogue's Morsel. We recommend checking the swamp areas in Act 1, most notably the region around Auntie Ethel's house.
For Suspensions, you can craft any. We recommend using Bullywug Trumpet as opposed to something like Night Orchid, as the former is easier to get than the latter. If you're still in Act 1, we recommend exploring the Underdark for Bullywug.
Once you have both extracts, head to the Solutions menu of the Alechmy section and select Potion of Healing to craft it.
And that's it! That concludes our guide on how to get healing potions in Baldur's Gate 3.
