As you venture through the Living Lands in Avowed, you'll pick up all kinds of equipment and trinkets, not all of it useful. Some of the stuff you collect you'll want to sell to a merchant for some extra cash, but some items appear to be worth more than others — like Gems, for example.
There are a wide variety of Gems to find in Avowed, such as Amethyst, Turquoise, or Bloodstone. Some of them will even net you a tasty profit. But there's always the worry of accidentally selling something that you might need further on down the line, maybe as a hard-to-find upgrade material.
Are Gems Safe to Sell in Avowed?
Thankfully, yes. You can sell Gems in Avowed without worrying if you'll need them later. Gems are stored in the "Loot" section of your inventory, and come with a little note in their description that reads: "Sell to any vendor for a high price".
Essentially, this means that there's no need to hang on to Gems for any special reason. Sell them off to whichever merchant you like to get a nice little cash injection.
Unlike weapons, Gems can't be broken down into additional crafting materials, making it really easy to decide what to do with them. There's all sorts of different Gems to find throughout the Living Lands, some worth more than others. Keep an eye out for any loot chests or lockboxes for the chance to find a gem or two.
Avowed is available to play on Xbox Series X|S and Windows via PC Game Pass.
