Where to Find the Pyromancer's Key in Avowed

With plenty of secrets to uncover in Avowed, exploration is a necessity. During your travels across Dawnshore, you may come across a small camp to the west of the Western Pargrun Wall Beacon. In this camp is a locked chest that seems to only open with the use of the Pyromancer's Key, but the Pyromancer is nowhere in sight. 

How to Find the Pyromancer's Key and Open the Pyromancer's Chest in Avowed 

Fortunately for our adventurers, everyone in the Living Lands seems to write their secrets down on paper. If you look to the right of the Pyromancer's Chest, you'll notice a letter has been left called the "Scorched Journal." It details that the writer has moved to a nearby ridge, one that is "isolated, yet with this camp still in view."

Turn roughly 180 degrees from facing the chest and you'll see a ridge matching the description just behind and above the graveyard. You'll see there's a banner on top of the ridge depicting a flame. This is where you'll need to go.

To reach the top, head through the nearby graveyard (Berath's Gateway) until you reach the other side. Head round to the left, following the path up the ridge. You'll encounter some Xaurips along the way.

Move up the pathway to the ridge and you'll eventually overhear the "Crazed Pyromancer" talking to himself. Unfortunately, he soon takes a tumble down the ridge, though that's good news for our adventurer.

Head over to where the Pyromancer was and you'll see that he's left behind the Pyromancer's Key, along with some other items: a Charred Journal, the Anextli's Grimoire unique item, and an Essence Potion.

Pick up the key and head back to the camp to open the Pyromancer's Chest. Inside you'll find some coins, materials, and other goodies.
