With the arrival of the new expansion of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Wrath of the Druids, many areas, enemies, and items have been available as part of the content prepared for all players, including powerful weapons like the Bone Sickle and the Dublin Champion armour set. This time, we will show you how to get one of the best defensive items in the entire game, known for increasing your Ability Damage based on the time you spent the block stance, while also having a really good style and an insane Stun stat, the Cu Chulainn Shield.
Ui Neill Artifacts locations in Valhalla
Before going for the Cu Chulainn Shield, it’s important to collect a series of items known as Uí Neíll Artifacts in order to unlock the chest that contains it, so you have to perform various missions to get each of the items. We will explain it to you below:
First Ui Neill artifact - Dublin
For the first of them all, you will have to travel to the north of Dublin to find a secret cave covered by a group of monoliths.

To enter this cave, you will have to blow its entrance using an explosive arrow. After you open it, the Artifact will be sitting a few meters away from the entrance.
Second Ui Neill artifact - Meath
For the second one, you will need to move towards an underground cave located at the south of Knockfree in the Meath region.

Once you are at the bottom of the cave, you will find a little trap with metal spikes near to a short entrance. You will have to wait for the spikes to go down and then enter the cave, where you will find a jar filled with gunpowder.
Pick this up and walk up the open wall of the room, and then throw it through the rock in front of you. Doing this will open a hole where the Artifact will be waiting.
Third Ui Neill artifact - Connacht
For the third, you will have to go to the southwest of Connacht, where you will look for another locked cave below a little hill.

Blow its wall, walk through all the spider webs, and at the end you just look over a hole to find it.
Fourth Ui Neill artifact - Ulster
The next one will be at the west of Mavilla Abbey at Ulster, near the river.

Here you will have to look for another cave with an entrance to blow up inside a hill, near a camp with lots of gunpowder jars around. You can either use these or your arrows, but at the end you just have to follow the road inside it to get the Artifact.
Fifth Ui Neill artifact - Ulster
As for the fifth and final, you just have to go now to the east of Ulster near the trade post, where you have to find a cave filled with vases but also some gas.

Get rid of the gas using a fire item or weapon, and then move forward inside the cave breaking all vases around. The last artifact will be resting at the end under a shine of light from a hole over the cave.
How to get Cu Chulainn Shield
Once you get all five Artifacts, you will have to move back to the south of Meath, more specifically to the Uí Neíll’s Rest, and then go directly to the chest, press the popped up button, and the Shield will be yours.
