It's been over a year now since the highly-anticipated release of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, and Ubisoft has been keeping the title fresh via frequent updates. Many times these updates feature new challenges to complete and unlock exclusive rewards, as well as general game improvements.
The most recent patch, Title Update 1.4.0 is now live and brings gamers a new mode to explore and unlock subsequent rewards. Tombs of the Fallen, are four puzzle-focused tombs scattered across the England portion of the map, with each unlocking exclusive trophies and achievements.
The Tombs require some work to navigate through, so you'll want to follow along below. To help simplify the process, here's how to find and complete the search for Cassivellaunus Tomb in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla.
Cassivellaunus Tomb location - AC Valhalla
The Cassivellaunus Tomb can be found in Sciropescire, specifically in the Northeast portion of the region. You will likely need to cross the Afon Hafren River to reach the Cassivellaunus Tomb, depending on your starting point.
When you approach the massive rockface, use Synin to reveal the glowing Odin Rune, which you will need to interact with for entry to the Cassivellaunus Tomb.
How to complete Cassivellaunus Tomb - ACV Tombs of the Fallen
Upon initially entering the Cassivellaunus Tomb, gamers will need to use the boat to progress to the large chamber. Waiting there will be a massive entrance locked by waterwheels and puzzles which you'll need to solve.
On the right side of the chamber, look for the stopped waterhweel and pressure plate. Smash the wall to the left of that wheel and pull out the podium behind it to drag over and place on the pressure plate.
For the next puzzle, look to the left side of the main entrance, and find the moving waterwheel and accompanying path. Follow that path and you will come upon a room featuring another movable podium.
Break the wood the podium rests on to drop it down to the ground floor level. Climb the objects in the room and find the key hanging from the ceiling to unlock the door and push podium onto the nearby pressure plate, and you've solved another puzzle.
Now look left of where you entered the main chamber, and find another dock. Follow that dock and go through the waterfall, you will now come across a wooden gate, which you need to climb.
After climbing that gate, you will find another sphere to place on a pressure plate in the main chamber and get closer to the treasure. Climb the nearby scaffolding (as your exit will be blocked) and land on the box with lots of nearby rocks. Use those rocks to throw onto the other box (the one with scaffolding) and it will raise your up like a manual elevator.
When you raise up high enough, find the boat and head back to the main chamber with your sphere to place it on one of the pressure plates.
After returning to the main chamber with your sphere, you're ready for the final puzzle to solve the Cassivellaunus Tomb. It's the small crack in the wall on the right sid of the room, and you'll need to pass through it. You can't go through the water, as you will drop the necessary sphere for the pressure plate.
Instead, hop from object to object on top of the water, and shoot a net full of rocks to create a pathway for yourself. There will also be an object which you need to shoot the support out from underneath, allowing you to walk on it.
Once you come across the door to the main entrance, you'll need to defeat a Poisonous Snake that will damage you if allowed. After slaying the beast, place your sphere on the final plate and the last puzzle has been solved.
You will meet Cassivellanus inside the tomb and he will have a diologue for you to listen to. After he's finished, the Fallen Hero Breastplate will unlock once gamers open the chest, and the Tomb of the Fallen is complete.
