Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ostara Festival - Start date, rewards, more

Ubisoft continues to update, patch, and refresh their ultra-popular Assassin's Creed Valhalla title as the legendary series rolls along. Over a year since the title was first released, the content is fresh as ever after the recent Title Update 1.5.1.

Amongst the exciting changes, the return of the Ostara Festival is catching many players' attention from the recent patch. Free rewards will be on-hand as well as a breath of fresh air from normal gameplay. Follow along for an overview of the event as the Ostara Festival is back in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

ACV Ostara Festival - Start date and run time

Back for another run, the Ostara Festival celebrates the Spring season and brings players even closer to Viking lore in the illustrious Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The event first debuted in March of 2021 to celebrate the Spring Equinox, and the success moved Ubisoft to bring it back for another round in 2022.

Beginning on 21st April and running until 12th May, players will have the opportunity to jump into themed challenges and unlock some new and exclusive rewards. Follow along for all the new content on hand available through the Ostara Festival 2022 in ACV.

Assassins Creed Valhalla Ostara Festival - Events and Rewards

There are a number of themed games and challenges to enjoy during the Ostara Festival. Amongst the confirmed festivities, Ubisoft revealed the following will be included in Ostara Festival 2022.

• Easter Egg Hunt
• Archery contests
• Drinking contests
• Brawling contests

All-new weapons will be available for unlocking after completing activities during both day and night periods. Additionally, rewards from last year’s Ostara Festival will be made available for another chance to unlock. Prizes will only be obtainable during the festival by redeeming tokens at Norvid’s shop. Rewards on hand during the Ostara Festival include the following:

• Opals
• Flowery Beard and Haircuts (available for Male and Female)
• Colorful Raven Skin
• Spring Floral Arrangement Styles (for Settlement)
• Spear of Renewal
• Vernal Bow

Do note there is a progression requirement to take part in the Ostara Festival. Players must reach England in the story and complete one of the first two narrative arcs (Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire) indicated by Randvi at the war table in England. Upon reaching this checkpoint, players will receive a quest to return to the settlement (must be at least Level 2) to see what’s going on with the Ostara Festival.
