Ubisoft's highly acclaimed RPG title Assassin's Creed: Valhalla will be free to play on multiple platforms this weekend. While many players will be enjoying other titles like Elden Ring or Horizon Forbidden Dawn, this latest freebie is perfect for those penny pincher gamers who might be feeling a little left out. Indeed, this is especially the case, given the paucity of free game titles this year.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla gets Free Weekend Pass for console and PC
Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be free-to-play starting 24th February until 28th February 2022 (9 pm local time) across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4|5, Google Stadia, and PC platforms. Notably, the trial period does not include DLC, although that shouldn't be a problem.

During the free to play weekend, players can play as much of the game as they like; however, they will have to purchase a copy once the trial expires. Once the free weekend is over, your progression will be carried over if you buy the game.
Fortunately, players who participate in the trial period will also benefit from a discounted price of just $24 (Standard Edition) or $32 (Deluxe Edition).
Of course, the free to play weekend comes just weeks away from the Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarök expansion, releasing on 10th March 2022.
