It's safe to say that Assassin's Creed: Valhalla won't be going stale anytime soon as the last few months alone have seen a massive surge of new content.
The Siege of Paris expansion was the second so far in ACV, and just last week Ubisoft released Title Update 1.3.1 featuring new River Raids.
The next feature is already on the horizon as a Discovery Tour is set for the Fall of this year. Just announced on Assassin's Creed social media outlets, the Discovery Tour: Viking Age is coming to servers soon.
The DLC is set to give gamers a first-hand experience of ninth-century life in Norway and England, and here's all the latest on Ubisoft's upcoming release.
ACV Discovery Tour: Viking Age
Launching 19th October as a free add-on, the all-new Discovery Tour: Viking Age will be made available featuring input from historians and archaeologists alike. The upcoming DLC is described by developers as a nonviolent, educational experience that players can freely explore to learn more about the places, people, and cultures of ninth-century England and Norway.
Gamers will be submersed into the content by playing as different characters and completing quests, bringing them closer to the material by putting them at the centre of it. Explore unique Discovery Sites that each focus on an element of the culture and traditions of Vikings and Anglo-Saxons in the Viking Age.
ACV players can access the new mode free starting 19th October on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. PC players can also purchase it as a standalone game via Ubisoft Connect or Epic Games Store on 19th October, and on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in early 2022.
The world-famous franchise is still rolling right along with plenty of content already rumoured for 2022. Stay tuned with our Assassin's Creed tab for all the latest breaking news and updates.
