Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok - Release date, livestream, leaks and more

After The Siege of Paris, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will finally be receiving its next big expansion in the coming months. This is a moment of huge excitement for fans, and for those who can't wait for its official announcement, we have good news for you.

An online Chinese store has reportedly leaked Assassin's Creed Valhalla's next DLC expansion, and it will be called Dawn of Ragnarok. We now have our hands on a lot of information regarding it, including its release date, story it's going to follow and more.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok release date

As per the release date mentioned on the Chinese digital store, Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok will release on 10th March 2022. 

As per the description, it is going to be the "most ambitious expansion pack" in the history of the series, and Ubisoft will announce its details officially via a livestream.

A livestream will be taking place on 13th December at 9 am PDT / 6 pm CET, where you can expect Ubisoft to reveal details about the upcoming expansion DLC.

"There is more to see than Midgard in Assassin's Creed Valhalla." the official tweet on Assassin's Creed's Twitter handle reveals.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok story and content leaks

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok will bring about 40 hours of gameplay DLC content. The story takes place in the "magnificent Nine Realms in the mythology of North" that has been invaded the kingdom of frost and flames. 

The kingdom of dwarves in Wat Alheim starts falling apart, and during the war, Odin's beloved son Badr was also unfortunately taken away by "the immortal fire giant-Surut."

"This time, Aivor must personally experience the fate of Odin, the war of the North and the destiny of the god of wisdom." the DLC's description store revealed. 

It then further elaborates, "The world of mythology, shouldering the urgent task of saving children, unleashing the brand-new supernatural power of the thunderbolt. After this shocking Viking legend, save your own flesh and blood before the gods are swallowed by the catastrophe."
