Apex Legends Mobile: Release date & soft launch
We've known for a while that Apex Legends Mobile is expected to release in the 2022 financial year, which is gives it a release date window of between March 2021 and March 2022.
During Electronic Arts' quarterly earnings call, the publisher also revealed there are plans for an Apex Legends mobile "soft launch" which is basically a beta. This will take place in the next three to four months, which puts the expected Apex Legends Mobile beta release date before June, most likely in May 2021.

The Apex Legends Mobile soft launch is expected to start in China "once approved" with the soft launch rolling out to the rest of the world in the next three to four months.
EA's CEO, Andrew Wilson, noted the publisher is excited to expand even further into the mobile market, stating: "Unlike many people in the mobile industry, we've built a very strong and profitable business."
Interestingly, Apex Legends Season 8 is scheduled to end on 3rd May 2021, lasting three months. It is highly likely that the Apex Legends Season 9 release date is 3rd or 4th May 2021.
This means we might just see Apex Legends Mobile's soft launch coincide with Season 9. At the time of writing, however, EA has not revealed an official release date for Apex Legends Mobile.
