After a season full of big clashes around the world and with the Winter Circuit Playoffs and LCQs already over, the best Apex Legends teams are now preparing for the biggest competitive summit and a chance to get a share of the $ 1 million USD prize pool in the Apex Legends Global Series Championship 2021.
Due to the current global situation, this year’s ALGS Championship will be divided around five major regions, with more than a hundred teams fighting to get crowned as the Apex Legends regional champions, so now it’s time to take a look on the schedule, format, and more to be prepared for the upcoming war.
ALGS Championship 2021: Schedule and Format
As this tournament will be played around specific servers and regions, the number of teams qualified in each of them will vary depending on the players population and their international performance as a whole, with the distribution being as follows:

With this, a total of 170 teams from all around the world will get the opportunity to show their best performances around many rounds of competition, in the search for the best squads in this year’s competitive.

As for the format, every single team will begin the Championship in the Group Stage where they’ll be divided into groups of up to 10 teams. You can take a look on the Group Seedings through the ALGS website.
A Round Robin schedule will see each group compete against each other before total points across the Group Stage are used to advance 20 teams into their region’s Championship Finals.

ALGS Championship 2021: Prize Pool
The Finals of the tournament will use the Match Point format, giving a prize pool of $ 1 million USD distributed among the Top 20 teams from each of the regional championships, and with a bonus to the player who gets the Apex Predator title.
