It's a great day to be a wrestling fan with PS Plus that still wants to try out the latest games, as both AEW Fight Forever and a limited WWE 2K24 trial are on their way. The announcement comes along with PlayStation kicking off their Days of Play 2024 festivities, and two very different wrestling titles are taking the spotlight. We've got more details below on exactly when AEW Fight Forever and the WWE 2K24 trial will be available.
PS Plus to add WWE 2K24 trial and AEW Fight Forever
If I had a nickel for every Cody Rhodes game coming to PS Plus, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happening twice. Starting on May 29, PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will get the WWE 2K24 trial added as one of several time limited demos they can check out. While you'll have to purchase the full game to keep going, if the core gameplay has had you uncertain, this is the perfect way to try it out firsthand.
Dive into a few Play Now matches and the tutorials to get a better understanding of the WWE 2K24 controls, and take a glance at modes like MyRISE and MyGM. Rather than eating into a lot of your time toying with the character creator, it's probably best to use a default character and jump into the first few scenes just to see if it's something you'll enjoy. You can always start over if you purchase the full game.
Meanwhile, AEW Fight Forever lands as one of the June Monthly Games available to PS Plus Premium, Extra, and Essential members starting on June 4. While this doesn't include the multiple DLC packs, you will get access to the full base game and have a chance to see how the arcade style gameplay feels. You can find the full lineup of games coming to PS Plus here.
