Developer Codemasters revealed the first of many deep gameplay dives focusing on gameplay, the Dynamic Handling System, and driving authenticity. During the gameplay deep dive, the studio showcased the official locations list by highlighting the unique tracks players will experience at launch.
The developer also revealed a few fictional locations to be added to the game, which features some of the most realistic gameplay designs, thanks to the move to Unreal Engine. Before embarking on a Championship run, let’s look at all the confirmed locations arriving to EA Sports WRC at launch and post-launch.
All Confirmed Real-World & Fictional Locations For EA Sports WRC
Detailed in a recent developer post, Codemasters unveiled that the game will include more than 200 rally stages for players to compete against friends and other players. These stages are located across 17 real-world and fictional locations, which reflects the competitive WRC calendar year.

According to the developer post, these locations “featured in-game are some of the most realistic that the team at Codemasters has ever built, with each location featuring replicas of actual roads.” The developer also confirmed that an 18th location, the Central Europe Rally, will be added to the game post-launch; however, no official release date has been confirmed as of writing.
When traversing along these tracks to get to the finish line first or record the fastest lap, they will have to combat the track’s terrain and Dynamic Weather, which can provide unique challenges when racing. These climate changes and vast weather conditions will also influence the strength of the race track, as a hot track may introduce faster wear and tear on tires, while cold, icy surfaces could result in traction loss.
Nevertheless, the game’s unique driving tools should assist players with familiarizing themselves with the game’s Handling system and mastering the multiple tracks across the 18 locations added to the game. As such, we’ve provided the official list of real-world and fictional locations available at launch and post-launch for EA Sports WRC below:

Furthermore, the developer stated the EA Sports WRC provided the team with the “greater freedom” to design some of the biggest and longest track routes in the studio’s history. This is due to the move to Unreal Engine, which allowed the team to design routes over 30 km long as the game features more than 600 km of tracks and roads compared to previous Codemasters games.
Players who’ve pre-ordered EA Sports WRC can play the game three days before launch through its Early Access period. EA Sports WRC will also be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the EA Windows app, Epic Games Store, and Steam on 3rd November 2023.
