This app is available for free on mobile devices and can be installed directly from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Additionally, players can use their login details to sign in on the desktop version at the EA Racenet website to continue their experience on PC.
Nevertheless, this service is available for most Codemasters' racing games; however, it will be functional later for EA Sports WRC. This is due to the game not being released yet as it will launch on console and PC on 3rd November 2023 with Early Access available on 31st October 2023.
How To Use The EA Racenet For EA Sports WRC?
As for how to use this service, players will first need to install the app on their preferred device, as it's available for free via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Once downloaded to their device, they can run the app for which they'll need to sign in or register a new account using the required details, and once signed in or registered, they can utilize the various features available in-app.
EA Racenet aims to enhance your gameplay experience across single or multiple racing titles through dedicated features. Players can monitor their in-game racing performance using the Telemetry Analysis, which lets them view data that highlights areas of improvement that can be resolved in-game.
Additionally, they can compare their in-game performance and statistics against their friends and online players through the Leaderboards. These statistics will include combined victories, podium finishes, total laps driven, and more to compare in-app.
But, the biggest component of the EA Racenet app is the social features that players can use to connect with friends and online players. Players can join and/or create competitive leagues to put their best racing skills and their vehicle to the test against players in online multiplayer, which supports crossplay when EA Sports WRC launches.
There are also various challenges and tasks available for all to complete, which can be rewarding upon its completion. These rewards may include trophies, in-game badges, cosmetics, and more, and with the addition of community-based challenges, these rewards will be given to all who've participated.
The Clubs feature is another social feature that can be found in-app, and according to a developer post, these serve as the primary community-orientated offering in-game. Players can create and host custom tournaments by tailoring the rules and guidelines for each tournament from racing locations, time of day, and Dynamic Weather Conditions.
Players who’ve pre-ordered EA Sports WRC can play the game three days before launch through its Early Access period. EA Sports WRC will also be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the EA Windows app, Epic Games Store, and Steam on 3rd November 2023.
