Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a hardcore RPG that puts action above everything else. It features an intricate but fast-paced combat that gets more complex as you unlock new Wizardry Spells and master Martial Arts abilities.
Martial Arts, in particular, are special abilities in Wo Long that costs Spirits to perform. Every weapon has unique Martial Arts abilities that come in handy in different combat encounters. As such, here's our guide explaining everything about Martial Arts in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
How Martial Arts Work In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
As mentioned previously, Martial Arts in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty are special abilities that cost Spirit to perform. One and two-star weapons only have one Martial Art that you can use, whereas three and four-star weapons have two.
Some weapon types share these Martial Arts abilities. For example, some Swords and Sabres have Meteoric Strikes, whereas some Staff and Spears have Dragon Flash.
Some Martial Arts even have additional effects when you have a high Spirit. These are legendary abilities, and you can spot them by their golden highlights.
Unfortunately, unlike other special effects in Wo Long, you can't use the Embedment mechanic to extract Martial Art abilities from weapons and embed them into other weapons.
When your Spirit Guage is in the negative limit, you won't be able to perform Martial Arts. However, when your Spirit Guage is on the positive side, you can use these abilities to break an enemy's guard.
And that's it! That's everything you need to know about Martial Arts in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
