Riot Games continues to add champions to League of Legends: Wild Rift with the arrival of its update 2.4. As the Sentinels of Light event continues its course, an ambitious and restless spirit from the Shadow Isles will arrive to wreak agony upon the souls of his opponents into the battlefield.
Being one of League’s most popular and resonant champions, with a unique and high-skill kit, and a dark yet grimly joyous theme stands alone in the support roster, the Chain Warden, known as Thresh, will debut in Riot’s mobile MOBA with a new look and evolving lore, changing after the events of the Ruined King arrival.
Wild Rift Thresh: All abilities overview
Let's take a brief look into his abilities:
Passive - Damnation
Thresh can harvest the souls of enemies that die near him, permanently granting him Armor and Ability Power.
Death Sentence (1)
Thresh wraps an enemy in chains and pulls them towards him. Activating this ability a second time draws Thresh towards the enemy.
Dark Passage (2)
Thresh launches a flashlight that shields nearby allied champions from damage. Allies can click the lantern to navigate to Thresh.
Flay (3)
Thresh's attacks charge up and deal more damage the longer he waits between attacks. When activated, Thresh slides his chain and throws all enemies hit in the direction of impact.
Ultimate - The Box
Thresh summons a prison of walls that slows and deals damage when broken.
When does Thresh arrive to Wild Rift?
The debut of Thresh will be part of the second part of the global event of the Sentinels of Light in League of Legends: Wild Rift, scheduled to release in August 2021.
Along with him, another of the champions that will come to the game as part of the plot of the event will be the Rogue Sentinel, Akshan, the first character to be added at the same time in all titles related to the universe of Runeterra, equipped with a holy relic weapon and featuring an exclusive skin.
