Wild Rift’s highly anticipated Wild Pass Season 3 is kick-starting off with the release of patch 2.5, and it’s set to come with some major upgrades. To make this the best season yet, Riot Games has implemented a couple of significant changes, including but not limited to a complete redesign to Wild Pass UI, more rewards, and an XP boost system.
As per the official patch schedule, the Wild Rift 2.5 update will be released on 15th October, and players will be able to download it from Google Play and Apple App Store once it goes live. The servers will, however, remain offline for a few hours before the release of the Wild Rift update. Here’s everything you need to know about the Wild Rift Wild Pass Season 3.
Wild Rift Wild Pass Season 3 Upgrades
Before moving forward, it’s worth noting that Wild Pass Season 3 is now available in Wild Rift. The standard pass costs 590 Wild Cores, whereas the Elite version can be purchased for 990 Wild Cores. Players would, however, be able to snag the exclusive rewards following the release of Patch 2.5.
Here’s the list of changes that Riot Games has announced.
Wild Pass UI
The User Interface is an integral part of most games, and Wild Rift is getting an entirely new design for Wild Pass Season 3. The game developers have made it easier for the players to see which rewards they’ll earn next. Beyond this, the free and elite version of the Wild Pass has been split into two different sections.
More free rewards
Purchasing the Wild Pass each season is not a viable option for every player. Taking this into account, Riot Games has increased the number of rewards in the free version of Wild Pass. Now, players can earn complimentary rewards at every level up to 50 and load up their inventory with glorious items.
Wild Pass Boost
Unlocking all the Wild Pass rewards was a relatively gruelling process, owing to the lack of sufficient XP. Starting with Season 3, Wild Rift Elite Pass players will now gain the Wild Pass Boost, which grants more XP for each mission and allows you to secure all the rewards quickly.
Profile badges and Exclusive skins
The game developers have also added profile borders as a brand new reward type obtained via the latest Wild Pass. Beyond this, players can earn an exclusive skin by reaching level 50 on the premium pass.
Riot’s official statement reads, “As with our previous two Wild Pass seasons, you can earn an exclusive skin by reaching level 50 on the premium pass. Joining the ranks alongside Hexplorer Jax and Teemo, Hexplorer Tristana is ready to bring the boom.”
So there you have it, everything you need to know about the new Wild Pass system in League of Legends: Wild Rift.
