Wild Rift Lunar Lovers: Dates, quests, rewards, and more

Valentine's Day is coming up in a week, and to celebrate this and the Lunar New Year, Riot has decided to launch a new exclusive event for its new mobile game, League of Legends: Wild Rift.

Lunar Lovers will bring us along with many rewards that can be obtained in exchange for Lunar Tokens, the expected arrival of Xayah and Rakan to the Rift, so here we bring you all the details about this event to get the most out of it.

Lunar Lovers: Dates and Quests

The Lunar Lovers event will be available from 12th February to 2nd March, having special missions every week and day throughout its duration. At the moment Riot has only shared the missions corresponding to the first and second week and day.

These missions will be sequential, so you must complete a task to move on to the next. Each completed weekly task will give you 50 lunar tokens, while daily tasks will give you 15 lunar tokens.

Weekly missions

These missions have global accumulation, so everything that you and your group achieve in the game will add on to after each game.

• Week 1: Obtain 350,000 gold / Eliminate 2,500 minions and monsters

• Week 2: Place or destroy 50 wards / Deal 500,000 damage to enemy champions

Daily missions

There are two ways to complete these: By playing five games or by completing each objective before playing them all.

Day 1

• Win a match using an Ox Clan champion (Alistar, Annie, Jarvan, Darius, Fiora, Miss Fortune)
• You and players in your party get a total of 30 kills
• Win a match of Summoner’s Rift in 15 minutes or less
• Use the rift herald to take down two turrets with your team
• Kill Baron Nashor while in a premade party
• Kill an elder dragon while in a premade party
• Win a match with both Xayah and Rakan on your team
• Win a game with 2 or fewer deaths
• You or someone in your premade party gets a 5+ kill streak
• You or someone in your premade party gets First Blood

Day 2

• Win 2 games on Wild Rift
• Kill a total of 500 minions with your team
• Get a takedown on 10 unique opponents
• As a team, kill 10 rift scuttlers
• Deal 30,000 damage to enemy champions
• Get 25 takedowns
• Destroy 12 turrets as a team
• Kill 3 elemental drakes as a team
• Win 3 games or get MVP/SVP
• Earn 40,000 Gold

Finally, there will be too many rewards available during the event, notably the possibility of getting the Vastaya duo and exclusive Lunar New Year content, along with some Valentine’s Day-themed.
