Epic Games continues with its strategy of giving away free games each week, to attract new users to their platform.
Over the next seven days, you can add Watch Dogs and The Stanley Parable entirely free to your Epic Games collection, and keep them forever.
When it was released back in 2014, Watch Dogs was one of the most ambitious projects in UbiSoft's history. The game is set in a fictional version of Chicago, and UbiSoft sent a team of developers there to conduct field research on the setting. For authenticity, they even used a regional variation of the English language in the game. They consulted Kaspersky Lab, a cyber-security company, to help them create compelling hacking features. The game was called a "truly next-gen adventure."
The Stanley Parable, on the other hand, is a simple, but brilliant game. It's hard really to explain what exactly it is. It's mostly a "walking simulator," and the first playthrough is short, but the idea here is to play the game a dozen times if you want to experience it fully and to see everything it has to offer. The Stanley Parable is absurd, funny, intriguing, and fun, so we would definitely recommend you to try it, but be prepared to expect the unexpected.
To get these games, just go to Epic Games Store, make sure that you're logged into your account, and add them to your collection. For the next week, free games are Figment and Everything in Tormentor x Punisher.
