Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an amazing and beautiful game, but also very challenging and unforgiving, absolutely in a spirit of From Software games.
Once when you beat the game, you can proudly call your self a true master of the blade, a worthy bearer of skills required for that achievement, because the game will not let you pass without breaking a sweat. A lot and a lot of it.
And what's a better way to show off your skills than to play against other players? Unfortunately, the official game doesn't offer a multiplayer mode, but that's not the problem for the PC players of the game.
Thanks to the Sekiro Online Mod, which was released this Tuesday, you can now play both PvP against other player and co-op with other players. Sekiro Online has been made by modder LukeYui, who has been working on it for the last couple of months.
The mode works quite similarly to what we saw in Dark Souls multiplayer. That means that Invasion will also be available - jump randomly into worlds of other players as a spirit of vengeance, and fight them to death.
There's a co-op which allows you to play the game with other people, but the game itself is still balanced around playing alone, so it will be significantly easier to beat the game this way, but also more fun!
Finally, there's a PvP mode, a place where you can have a duel with your friend and show them how's the real master of Katana and prosthetic arms.
You can download the mod via this link, it is easy to install and you can invite your friends (up to 6) with Steam. Since the mod is in still in an early testing phase, you can expect quite a few problems with bugs, glitches, lag and other issues, but that's why it is released in beta, for players to test it and help to fix it!
