Sea Of Stars Concept Art Book Is Available For Pre-Orders

Developer Sabotage Studio announced that a book, Sea of Stars: The Art of Bryce Kho, featuring illustrations, designs, and concepts for their fantasy turn-based RPG Sea of Stars, is available for pre-order. The book is a collaboration between concept artist Bryce Kho and creative director Thierry Boulanger and will be published by 3dtotal.

The Sea of Stars: The Art of Bryce Kho features 272 pages of incredible illustrations of character concept art for playable characters and NPCs, various enemies and bosses, and breathtaking environments. It also includes concept artwork from the game, highlighting the "creative process" between Kho and Boulanger through multiple dialogue exchanges.

According to the official announcement post, "It’s the ultimate resource to admire over 90 illustrations of concept art from all parts of the game. It’s also an intimate window into the many design discussions that took place between Thierry and Bryce during production."

The developer further added that this concept artwork book "will have a high production value with a hardback cover, foil finish on the front cover, and top-quality paper." Pre-orders for the Sea of Stars: The Art of Bryce Kho has gone live via 3dtotal's website here, as interested players can pre-order the physical edition before it launches on 28th May 2024.

The concept artwork book will be shipped free to those residing in the United States and the United Kingdom, while other related items purchased simultaneously "will have a shipping fee applied and will be shipped separately." The digital edition of this concept artwork book will be available once the physical edition is released on 28th May 2024.

Lastly, the developer updated the game's forthcoming DLC and couch co-op mode, citing that they're "happy with the pace of development" but " it’s still too early to reveal specific details."
