Roller Champions - Gameplay
Roller Champions has a straightforward premise, comprising a 3v3 race around a velodrome-style arena where players attempt to score points using a single ball.
When a team has the ball in their possession, the aim is to complete a lap and trigger four gates around the rink. This unlocks the hoop, giving you the chance to shoot the ball and score points. The first team to obtain 5 points wins the match.
One lap around the track equals one point when you successfully dunk the ball. Completing two laps grants three points, and three laps earn you five points, thus winning you the game. Ultimately, the goal is to try to complete your laps and score your points before the opposing team can wrestle the ball away from you.
Teams can use different strategies and coordination to keep the ball safe when in their possession by faking out other players and passing the ball in quick succession. The offensive team can use momentum to slide, tackle, wrestle or overwhelm the other team to snatch the ball.

If a team loses possession of the ball, their points are reset, and they have to complete a full lap again to regain the points they've lost.
Indeed, Roller Champions might look like a huge party with its vibrant art style, Tron-esque visuals, and unique character customization options; however, it boasts a competitive sporting experience under the hood that requires forethought, practice, and teamwork.
Roller Champions also sports a menu of game modes that offer tons of content and challenges. The different game modes are listed below.
