Regions of Ruin free to keep now on Steam

Another free game to kill time in lockdown.
Regions of Ruin free to keep now on Steam

One thing is sure - after the lockdown and this whole outbreak thing are over, we'll get out of it with much bigger libraries of video games. This past few weeks, developers and publishers were giving away games left and right, from big triple AAA titles to small indie gems.

Another free game today is Regions of Ruin.  Developed by Vox Games and published by Poysky Productions, Regions of Ruin is a 2D pixel side-scrolling RPG with town-building elements. If you are maybe familiar with Kingdom series, this game is very similar to it, just with added adventure and RPG elements on the top. Game is set in a vast, open-world continent where we explore the land, fight adversaries and, of course, build our town.

The world is enormous, but the best part is - nothing is randomized or generic, everything is hand-crafted and designed to have its place in the game. The game also features a crafting system, where you can craft your equipment or smelt it for resources. When it comes to RPG part, you can customize the fighting style of your character with a diverse skill tree and a plethora of items you will find on your journey, some of them being rare and unique.

The developer of the game said this: "Found myself scrolling through my Steam library looking to kill time and thought "Well hey, I bet heaps of people are bored as well". Here's to all our fellow bored gamers out there looking to kill time. Grab a copy of our game completely free, no strings attached, just get it for free and have some fun! We're all weathering COVID, let's at least have some fun in the meantime. Enjoy!"

The game has almost 90% od positive reviews on Steam, so players are loving it, and if you are into this kind of games, there's no reason not to take it while it's free! Go to their Steam page and add the game to your Steam library.
