PowerWash Simulator developer FuturLab released a new trailer for the casual simulation game, unveiling the new content players can explore in the latest DLC. The Cruise Ship Sun Deck pack is now available for free for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4&5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows as players soak up the sun and some sudsy fun on a cruise liner and is riddled with plenty of muck to clean.
However, the trailer seemingly provides a tease of a possible crossover coming soon to the casual simulation game, which may call for a clean-up at Inkwell Isle. Details on this potential crossover are mum, but it certainly sparked plenty of interest once the developer officially confirmed it.
Toward the end of the Cruise Ship Sun Deck trailer, the developer gave players a sneak peek of what's soon arriving in PowerWash Simulator. A postcard appears on-screen, with the text "and more to come..." before 1930s animated aircraft appears, zooming across the screen as it fades to black.
While this aircraft may not mean much to some players, for those familiar with the acclaimed platform run-and-gun game, Cuphead instantly recognized the "rubber hose animation" homaged art style. As of writing, the subtle tease has players speculating on a potential crossover with Studio MDHR's acclaimed release and the casual simulation game, which past paid DLC pack releases have brought popular IPs to PowerWash Simulator, including Back to the Future, Warhammer 40,000, and SpongeBob Squarepants.
PowerWash Simulator's Cruise Ship Sun Deck – Summer 2024 pack was released on 1st August 2024 across all available platforms, with a trailer providing players with their first look at the new content included in the DLC. Unfortunately, the developer accidentally released the Muckingham Files – Part 4 pack prematurely on Steam, which remains on the digital storefront for now, with an update on its other platforms release coming soon.
