PlayStation Showcase Officially Announced For Next Wednesday

A PlayStation Showcase has been announced for next Wednesday, 24th May. According to the official PlayStation blog:

"The show will run a bit over an hour, focusing on PS5 and PS VR2 games in development from top studios from around the world. Expect a glimpse at several new creations from PlayStation Studios, as well as spellbinding games from our third-party partners and indie creators."

The show will start at 1 PM Pacific Time/9 PM BST and is suspected to feature a heavy focus on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 due to a recent marketing push for the title that features a Fall 2023 launch date. With Final Fantasy XVI launching next month, it's also likely that we get a final trailer for that game too, but other than that it'll all be about Sony showing off exactly what they can offer to their player base. The recent fiasco surrounding Redfall may have more eyes on Sony from potential adopters too, so it'll be interesting to see what they bring to the table.
