Monument Valley 3 Release Date Announced At Netflix Geeked Week

The final day of Netflix's annual celebration of fandoms, Geeked Week, culminated in a live audience presentation in which the streamer revealed some new projects. One project that received an update is from their gaming arm, Netflix Games, where they announced the release date for the third entry in the Monument Valley series.

The next chapter of this acclaimed indie puzzle adventure game, Monument Valley 3, returns to the scene more than seven years after its last release. Players will soon begin a new yet thrilling puzzle adventure in this latest entry, stepping into the shoes of its protagonist, hoping to find their way back home.

The indie puzzle game offers players a new gaming experience, which, in the official release date announcement post (h/t TUNDUM), was touted as "a bold evolution that puts a fresh spin on the franchise’s beloved formula" upon its release. Avid puzzle aficionados can look forward to Monument Valley 3's release when it launches for mobile devices, and yes it's coming to both Android and iOS devices, on 10th December 2024.

The streamer also shared details for the puzzle enthusiasts on how they can join the game's pre-registration via the Google Play Store, which we'll detail in a separate guide. As for their expectations, the streamer assures players that Monument Valley 3 "retains the series’ core elements," it "features an original story starring a fresh protagonist in a brand-new world."

Lastly, players aren't required to have previously experienced Monument Valley and its sequel, which are available to install and play on Android and iOS devices. However, subscribers can delve into this puzzling adventures of Monument Valley which can be downloaded for free, along with its two DLCs today ahead of the third game's release.
