Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Shown Off At PlayStation Showcase

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has been shown off with gameplay at the PlayStation Showcase, with the game dated for Fall 2023 (which was already known).

The gameplay trailer also showed off a new traversal mechanic for Miles, with the iconic wings from Amazing Fantasy #15 built into his suit, allowing him to glide around the city as well as web-swing. Meanwhile, Peter Parker has the symbiote suit, which is seemingly making him a whole lot more violent and altogether angrier. 

In addition to that, the trailer also showed Lizard and Kraven, confirming at least two of the villains in the game, with the likely addition of Venom later in the game once Peter gets rid of the symbiote suit. Lizard has shed his skin, hinting at the fact that he may be getting bigger and bigger throughout the game to create an almost Godzilla-sized threat. 

With the fact that there's not yet a date on the game, we'll likely be getting more shown off later this year, possibly at the State of Play later this year, or maybe even at the upcoming Summer Game Fest shows.
