A 5 June tweet from Guerilla Collective announced that a Killing Time remake, remaster, or reboot by Nightdive Studio will likely be announced during tomorrow's showcase. It's currently unknown exactly what the nature of the game will be, but it definitely seems to be a revival of some sort of 1995 classic Killing Time.
The original Killing Time was developed by Studio 3DO in 1995. In the game, players take on the role of a student studying Egyptology who's trying to find a lost, cursed artifact that seems to have made people disappear. The game describes itself as a "sophisticated shooter laced with gallows humor," involving puzzle-solving elements.
For now, there's few details on the upcoming Killing Time remake or reboot by Nightdive Studio. The announcement is somewhat of a surprise for many fans, as no leaks surrounding the game have surfaced prior to this sudden announcement. While there's not a lot of info out there quite yet, we'll learn more about the Killing Time: Resurrected game tomorrow at the Guerilla Collective Showcase, starting at 10 AM PST/1PM ET.
