How to sprint faster in Dying Light 2

A guide on how to run faster in Dying Light 2.
How to sprint faster in Dying Light 2

The main gameplay theme of Dying Light 2 Stay Human remains the same as it was in the original game - parkour. The developers, Techland, have created over 3000 unique parkour animations in order to make the game's signature free running experience as smooth and fluid as possible.

And yet, when you start playing Dying Light 2, you will be surprised how Aiden, the main protagonist, doesn't exactly show any particular swiftness.

In the dangerous open-world environment of Villedor, you would want to be fast, nimble, and explosive, and those are not the qualities he shows from the get-go.

Is there a way to make him sprint faster in Dying Light 2?

Among other genres it combines, Dying Light 2 is an RPG with an intricate skill tree that allows for players to build their character in a way that suits their playstyle the best.

This goes for your parkour abilities and stats as well. If you feel that Aiden runs slow, and you would like him to be more explosive, there are several abilities that can improve the fluidness of your movement while free running on the city's rooftops.

The Parkour mechanic has its own unique skill tree, completely separated from the Combat skill tree, where you can unlock various skills by using Parkour Points.

Just like in games such as Skyrim, where you improve your skills by doing the activity you want to level up, you'll do the same in Dying Light 2. This means that the more you run around and do parkour acrobatics, the more Parkour Points you will earn which you then use to unlock Parkour skills.

Some of them are passive, some are active, but for the purpose of sprinting faster, we recommend unlocking the Dart skill, which is an active skill that provides you with a short burst of speed upon using it, and the Dash skill, which allows you to sprint as long as you have Stamina left.

Naturally, ramping up your Stamina throughout the game is important as well, especially if you want to focus your playthrough on parkour rather than combat.

So there you have it, this is how you can run faster in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
