Hades PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S: Release date, where to buy, cost, add-ons, and more

Hades, the indie darling developed by Supergiant Games, took the gaming world by storm in 2020 amid the launch of next-gen consoles, garnering tons of praise from fans and critics alike, and winning multiple GOTY awards in the process.

The game, which initially launched in early access on Steam back in 2018 before a full release happened in September 2020 being playable on PC, MacOS, and Switch, will now make its way to PlayStation and Xbox, both digitally and with a physical edition which boasts some amazing perks for collectors. 

Previously, the only physical editions available of Hades were for Nintendo Switch, so this is the first time Microsoft and Sony enthusiasts will get to experience the critically acclaimed dungeon crawler.

Hades for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S will release this 13th August worldwide. 

Hades physical extras

Supergiant Games has partnered with Private Division to give fans the opportunity to own Hades physically. On top of this, this edition will feature a few goodies for those hardcore fans:

• Download code for the Hades original soundtrack.
• 32-page full-colour character compendium booklet with artwork from the game by Jen Zee.
• First pressing of these versions also features a unique foil cover.

Hades on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S - Cost

For people in the UK, the physical editions of Hades will retail for £24.99. In the US, the game will be sold for $29.99.

Is Hades on Gamepass?

Yes!

On top of being available digitally for all PlayStation and Xbox systems, Gamepass users will be able to download the game when it launches on 13th August.
