Funcom Creator Program: How To Join, Requirements & Perks

Developer Funcom has announced a new initiative for content creators and streamers on Twitch and YouTube called the Creator Program. This news comes ahead of the full launch of the Age of War Chapter 2 update for Conan Exiles as the developer continuously looks to support their creators within their growing community.

As such, the developer has revealed the full details of how creators can sign up to join the program, how it works, and the perks of being a part of this initiative. Creators looking to join this steller initiative must first ensure they meet the criteria the developer has listed on the official webpage for the Funcom Creator Program. Creators who wish to apply for this program must adhere to the following requirements detailed below:

• If on Twitch, streamers must have had 20 Concurrent Views (CCV)
• If on YouTube, content creators must have a minimum of 10,000 subscribers and an average of 1,500 per video
• The creator must be “positive and passionate” about gaming and boasts a “diverse community.”
• Their channel on Twitch or YouTube must be active and “in good standing.”
• Must be dedicated to creating content on any Funcom titles, including Conan Exiles and Metal: Hellsinger and/or survival titles

Creators who meet these requirements can proceed to apply for the Funcom Creator Program by clicking on the link here. They must create an account on Lurkit, a platform that serves as an intermediary between content creators and the studios and developers, before following the prompts to complete their application.

What Are The Perks Included With The Funcom Creator Program?

Once your applications have been approved, creators will access a bevy of perks approved members gain when starting. As more perks will be announced over time, we will update this guide to reflect the added perks, so bookmark this page if you’re still interested in joining the program.

Nevertheless, if you want to learn what’s in store as a creator when joining the Funcom Creator Program, let’s look at all the amazing perks they’ll have access to:

• Digital game keys for games and expansions/DLCs
• Exclusive access to unique campaigns, missions, and related quests
• Full media asset support
• Networking opportunities
• Opportunities related to social media promotions through official game accounts on Twitter and Instagram, to name

If you’re a creator unfamiliar with Funcom, various campaigns are available to playtest their games before they can apply for the Funcom Creator Program. According to the official web page, only three Funcom titles have active campaigns: Conan Exiles, Dune: Awakening, and Metal: Hellsinger.

Creators can choose between these three titles and hit the “Request A Key” button at the bottom right of the game panel to submit a request, guaranteed they have a Lurkit account. Once they’ve played the game, they can apply for the program to continue enjoying all the perks included with being a member of the Funcom Creator Program.

The Age of War Chapter 2 update launched on 21st September 2023 across all available platforms. Conan Exiles is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam.
