Fans of the Diablo series are patiently waiting for the release of Diablo 4 and in the meantime, they are having fun with Diablo 3 and Diablo 2 Resurrected.
Launched on 10th December 2021, Diablo 3 Season 25 is well underway and while we are still far away from its end, many players naturally want to know how much time they have left to explore all the content and earn all the rewards.
While Blizzard hasn't given an official end date for Season 25, based on past seasons we can make some pretty precise predictions.
So here's when Diablo 3 Season 25 ends and when Diablo 3 Season 26 starts.
When does Diablo 3 Season 26 start?
Most of Diablo 3 seasons during the last couple of years lasted a minimum of 10 weeks, and that's the bare minimum you can expect. The last one that lasted so short was back in 2017.
But, Diablo 3 Season 25 is not your ordinary Diablo 3 season, as it came alongside the 25th Anniversary of the Diablo franchise, so we expect it to last significantly longer than 10 weeks.
If we take a look at the last couple of seasons, we will see that Season 24 lasted almost five months (19 weeks), Season 23 was 15 weeks long, and Seasons 22 and 21 spanned 18 weeks.
Season 25, themed around The Lords of Hell and Soul Shards, will probably last around 17-18 weeks, and that means that Diablo 3 Season 25 will end in the first half of April.
There's usually not that much downtime between Diablo 3 seasons, so you can expect that Season 26 will start within a week from the end of Season 25, so we estimate Season 26 to launch mid-April.
And there you have it, that's all we currently know about the start of Diablo 3 Season 26. Keep in mind that these are only our predictions, because nothing is official yet, and Diablo 3 seasons tend to vary in their length, as we saw above.
We believe that the new season is coming in April, but we will update the article as soon as there's more information about the new season and potential PTS testing of new content before Season 26 starts.
