Astro Bot's Free DLC Update 5 Is Out Now

Astro Bot just got its final DLC level update, Rising Heat, and it's free for all players. Rising Heat is a speedrun level that features a volanic environment, surrounding you with magma and lava. The level is the last of the five unique speedrun levels promised by Team Asobi.

At the end of the stage, players can complete a race before red and blue birds to earn two special Bots: the Suave Traitor VIP Bot, who takes on the appearance of Albert Wesker from Resident Evil, and the Exalted Exo Cameo Bot, who's based on Cayde-6 from Destiny. 

Is More Astro Bot DLC Coming?

Many players are hoping for more DLCs in the future, perhaps with even more crossovers. Rumors are already swirling around for future cameos, given the fact that there are still unreleased bots in the games' credits. Reddit user pkowswald pointed out that the characters are from series like Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin, Worms, Assassin's Creed, Beyond Good & Evil, Croc, and Tomba. 

However, these bots in the credits could easily just be tossed content that won't be coming to the game in the future. Fans will need to wait for more official information to know if there will be any DLCs added to the game following Rising Heat. For now though, fans can explore this exciting new DLC and get their hands on these two new cameo bots.
