Riot Games had to delete an entire Agent from Valorant momentarily as an emergency measure, as they ran into a game-breaking bug with Omen, that could potentially ruin thousands of matches.

The bug in question involves the character being able to teleport with his Path of Shadows ability beyond the starting spawn barriers during the buy phase that prevents anyone from moving into the map.
In order to pull it off, a player had to sit on top of high-ground near the spawn barriers in the map Split, allowing the Omen user to bypass them with ease using his ability. Originally, Riot thought the bug was a mistake with the map itself, eventually finding out that the Agent was the one in need of a hotfix.
What we thought was a map bug for Omen teleporting past the spawn barriers... is actually an issue with Omen, so we're disabling him until we have a _real_ fix. Which is hopefully tomorrow.

Sorry for all of the disruptions.
"What we thought was a map bug for Omen teleporting past the spawn barriers... is actually an issue with Omen, so we're disabling him until we have a _real_ fix. Which is hopefully tomorrow," the devs tweeted out.

This issue comes hot off the heels of another important bug with Omen following the release of patch v1.07, which saw the character become immune to enemy damage. While Riot promptly solved that problem, it seems the fix could have caused the one they're currently dealing with.
